CreatedinFrance.com was launched in January 2002 with the purpose of actively assisting buyers, designers and galleries in their overseas research of creative and quality products and craftsmanship from France.

What makes this initiative different from any other e-business initiative I have seen on the Web?

- The suppliers have been selected for their capacity in creating and developing new concepts and products in decoration, giftware, artwork and special skills.
- They represent the “French Touch” which has proven to be extremely popular at international fairs over the past few years.

There are about 236 members who have been selected by Ateliers d’Art de France for this project.

How were the applicants selected?

The most important factor we took into account was the ability to create new, original and genuine objects. Then we evaluated the applicants' ability to communicate with foreign buyers in english as well as their knowledge of export logistics and shipments. But creativity first!
