This production started on about 1750 when "kaolin" was discovered in Limoges. The way they are produced currently is very similar to the one of this period. The white porcelain is heated at 1,400°C. The decorations are made with brushes and colors for porcelain and are heated at about 850°C. The heating of the "decor" on porcelain can be multiple if there are many different colors. The contemporary workhouse in Limoges where the boxes of our catalogues are manufactured is one of the most renowned. It was created by an Artist, graduate of one of the most prestigious French Fine Porcelain schools, in 1956.
