Handmade ceramics made of red or white earthenware, fired at 1020°.
The enamels are superimposed using paintbrushes, to make different layers.
The decoration is achieved with a delicate and precious finish. This specific work combining volume and colour makes these pieces exclusive. Some of the pieces are enhanced with gold (leaf) or silver to add value to the creation.
The ceramics are sold during exhibitions, or at galleries and at th artist's studio.
In the picturesque countryside of the Haute-Vienne region, Christine Waxweiler, a former pupil of the Fine Art School in Nancy and a painter artist, developed an interest in ceramics.
